A lifetime in the making, Ernie Nivens shares his experiences growing up with religious values as a Southern boy turn true gentleman in his latest book, A Light In The Darkness.

As a Methodist minister for over 20 years turned financial advisor for over 23 years, Nivens is well accustomed to looking into the human heart and instilling hope and reassurance on many levels.

Originating from a small town in North Carolina, Ernie Nivens has combined over 40 years experience with people as a Methodist minister and financial advisor. Nivens is currently located in Gastonia, N.C. where he continues to pursue his passion for writing, sharing in faith and building personal relationships. Nivens and his wife, Rosemarie, have three daughters, three sons-in-law, and six grandchildren.
