Donna Ing Presents 'Gifts of Forgiveness'
In her new book "Accepting the Gifts of Forgiveness: Forgiveness Comes from Love" (published by AuthorHouse) author Donna Ing challenges readers to fully embrace the concept of forgiveness.
"Forgiveness is energetically, deeply, internally letting go," Ing says, and this basic statement is at the heart of her arguments. She goes into great detail examining both the physical and mental attributes of forgiveness, as well as the cost of not forgiving.
An excerpt from "Accepting the Gifts of Forgiveness":
"Those who indulge in suffering are always in some new embroilment in their lives - their latest disease, shattered relationship, job failure, lost friendship. They indulge themselves in suffering because it is such a popular form of conversation. Some people feel they have nothing to say if they are not suffering. Therefore, they don't say anything if they are not suffering. They can't be included in the conversation. They don't belong. They are excluded, outsiders, if they are not suffering. They subscribe to this soap opera mentality."
"Forgiveness is the greatest healer," Ing says. "Forgiveness always starts from within you. Forgiveness frees you. The gift of forgiveness is that you will be granted with whatever you will allow."
