Dream analyst, David Rivinus, announces the release of his new book "Always Dreaming," published by Ozark Mountain Publishing. "Always Dreaming" proposes the startling thesis that the experiences we have during our waking hours are also dreams. The book follows the progress of over a dozen case histories, with the experiences of some of the participants riveting. Using a simple five-step technique, Rivinus coaches these participants as they analyze unsettling daytime events as if they were dreams, with the "dreamers" often reaching life-changing understandings about their own motivations and circumstances.

In "Always Dreaming," Rivinus concludes that the structure of existence is far different than we usually imagine. He says, "The disturbing daytime events that we analyzed for the book contained messages so specific to the individuals experiencing them, it was hard to imagine these incidents taking place without some sort of subconscious participation on the individual's part."

These events often involved circumstances that conventional thinking suggests could not possibly have been engineered by the individuals involved: dog attacks, automobile accidents, abrupt and devastating changes in the workplace. Yet when these events were analyzed as if they were made up of metaphoric symbols-like a dream-the "dreamer" came away with a clear understanding of a conflict within himself that, before, he had only been confused about-or not even aware of. What's more, his whole view of the structure of life was altered.

The thesis of "Always Dreaming" is revolutionary and is bound to challenge many of the most entrenched concepts we hold about reality and the facets of life we feel we have no control over. The idea that these "dreamers" subconsciously engineered their own calamities while awake is sure to be controversial. Yet the book's data is extensive and the arguments are convincing.

Rivinus has lectured and facilitated workshops on dreams for over four decades in multiple countries across Western Europe and the Americas. He has now documented his findings and methods. The complete title of his new book is "Always Dreaming-Gaining Insights from the Metaphors of our Sleeping and Waking Lives."
