Daniel Radcliffe Says He Would Not Reprise HARRY POTTER Role

As BWW reported yesterday, J.K. Rowling just released an all-new piece of writing which takes place in the fantasy world of HARRY POTTER. Titled "Dumbledore's Army Reunites," the article is set following the events of the 'Deathly Hallows' book and is written from the viewpoint of "unscrupulous gossip columnist" Rita Skeeter of The Daily Prophet.

The story centers on the beloved hero Harry, now 34-years old with "threads of silver" in his hair and a mysterious new scar over his cheek, attending the Quidditch World Cup final with his young sons James and Albus Potter.

The story is only available to Pottermore.com subscribers, and the famed author tells TheBookSeller.com that she has "no plans" to write additional stories about the future Harry.

Speaking yesterday in New York to promote his new TV series A Young Doctor's Notebook, Radcliffe said that while he would most probably read the new piece of fiction, he did not believe it would eventually be made into a full-length feature film and has no plans to reprise his famed character. "My inclination is to say 'no' because I don't think it's even a hypothetical at the moment," he told reporters. "What she's written - and I haven't read it yet but I will - I understand it's a very short piece. And he's 10 Years older than I am now."
