Dane Boggs Releases REIKI AWAKENING
Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
Author Dane Boggs began feeling ill in 2002. Suffering from joint paint, fatigue and eventually neurological problems. In 2004, a doctor diagnosed him with Huntington's disease (HD), which ran in his family. Boggs wouldn't accept this and continued his search for answer - a search that would lead him on a spiritual journey of discovery. He chronicles this journey in his new book, "Reiki Awakening: A Spiritual Journey" (published by iUniverse).
Unable to accept that HD was his ailment, Boggs went to another doctor who concluded he suffered from Lyme disease. Surprised and relieved about his new diagnosis, Boggs began his path of healing, a path lined with numerous antibiotic trials that would ultimately lead him to Reiki.
Boggs describes in great detail the many challenges he faced during his several years of recovery, noting the ways that his Reiki teachings helped alleviate his pain. He says that much of his learning came from his spiritual guide, Ivo, who spoke to him from another plane. Throughout his book he cites numerous passages attributed to Ivo, in hopes that he can pass on the motivation and power the words gave him.
"It was written from the deepest part of my soul," Boggs says. "I had to write this book. I had no choice. I had to put on paper what I had experienced. It allowed me to witness my own transformation and transcendence - everyone can do the same."
