Dale Rose marks his debut in the publishing scene with a new book, "Grieving the Loss of a Child" (published by WestBow Press). Personal, poignant and practical, this chronicling takes readers on a special journey of healing after the loss of a loved one and also offers guidance on how to help others who are grieving.

This book is short, but precise, and written to guide those who have lost a child and in the process of dealing with grief. It also gives pointers and advice for those who are willing to reach out and help others through one of the most difficult experiences a human being can walk through. "Grieving the Loss of a Child" can also be used as a tool in a group therapy class or setting. Readers will find this book to be very open, honest, transparent and candid in nature.

"No one should have to experience the death of a child, but many go through the deep pain and anguish. There are no words that can describe the ache and agony," author Rose shares. "This book is a must-read for those who are suffering from the loss of a child as well as anyone who helps to minister to those grieving."

A snippet from "Grieving the Loss of a Child" reads:
I said, "Lana, please tell me that it is not true. Please tell me that it is not true."

The crushing revelation hit me: Derek, our thirty-one-year-old son, had died in his sleep from heart complications. The world seemed to crash in on me. I had just talked with Derek on Friday afternoon, asking him about his doctors' appointments, and my last words to him were, "Son, I love you."
