ITHACA, Mich.

Writing poems is a form of self-expression for Curtis Wetzel. He would like to preserve and share his poems written through the years. With his realistic personality and sense of adventure, he takes readers on a journey into the wild with "Collected Poems of Curtis Wetzel." (published by Xlibris)

The poems in this book are from an accumulation of thoughts he gathered over a period of 36 years. These poems present his personal experiences or those evolved from words, phrases, studies and his imagination that represent his thoughts. His poems cover a variety of topics such as nature, horticulture, solitude, philosophy, memories and self-help.

"Readers will be able to relate with my poems," says Wetzel. "My poems create pictures with words which are unique to my own life experiences. It will remind readers how nature and self-expression defines one's existence."

Wetzel hopes that with the publication of "Collected Poems of Curtis Wetzel," readers will enjoy his poems and that every time they read a poem, they will find new discoveries in that same poem.
