But after he visits a fly- by-night voodoo master, one bad thing after another happens to him; Stanly soon realizes that he is the victim of his own vengeful ways. Stanley's journey to self-destruction and back to self-redemption encourages readers who have been astray to tread on the path towards the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel.
