Bullying is a startling problem that continues to exist in schools. According to the Do Something website, 3.2 million students are victims of bullying every year. In his book, "Rex In Trouble," Christopher Tyson uses the creative story of a toy dinosaur to shed light on the problem of bullying and teach readers that aggression and negative behavior does not do anything good to anyone.

The story introduces the title character, Rex, a toy dinosaur who becomes the victim of bullying. The bullies soon realize that they need Rex's help. Instead of showing aggression, Rex forgives his bullies and even offers his friendship to them. Through this imaginative tale, Tyson hopes to spread awareness about the reality of bullying and more importantly move parents and children to be open about it. He also teaches readers the importance of respect, kindness, compassion and forgiveness.

A heady mix of vibrant illustrations and meaningful lessons, "Rex In Trouble" is an eye-opening book that is made for parents just as it is for children.

"Rex In Trouble" was featured at the 2013 New York State Reading Association in Albany, New York, last October 27 - 29, 2013. For more information, log on to http://www.Xlibris.com.
