Christopher Jackson in CBS's BULL

As BWW has previously reported, Tony nominated actor and HAMILTON star Christopher Jackson takes on the role of fashion-conscious stylist Chunk Palmer on the new CBS drama BULL, premiering tomorrow night, September 20th at 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT. The actor, who plays founding father George Washington in the Tony winning hip-hop musical, co-stars on the legal drama opposite Michael Weatherly and HAND TO GOD's Geneva Carr.

Speaking with the New York Post, Jackson explains how he manages to juggle his TV shooting schedule with nightly performances of the Broadway juggernaut. "I've been able to go to work in the morning, and then do the show at night," explains the star. "It's highly unusual for a TV production to let me out early because they know I have ['Hamilton'] to do, but they know how important it is to me."

Discussing his role in the new CBS series, Jackson explains, "Chunk has an everyman aspect. If there was a classification for being a 'master stylist' I would say he's it. He grew up as an elite-level athlete, an All-American. He's gay, and at a certain point he decided the world of pro football wasn't for him." He continues. "He's an artist who expresses himself in non-verbal communication ... What we hear, how we perceive each other. He's a sounding board for Bull - he's got his back."
