Chris Monroe has written and illustrated numerous picture books, including Cookie, the Walker; Sneaky Sheep; and the Monkey with a Tool Belt series. She also created the illustrations for Big Little Brother and Big Little Mother, written by Kevin Kling. She lives in Duluth, Minnesota.
