About the Author

Charles Lansford Nickerson holds a Master of Arts degree in history from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Science degree in history from Iowa State University. He served as a combat crew member in the Veteran United States Air Force. Charles taught in Christian schools for 10 years.

Irene Nickerson is 2013 graduate of Ankeny Christian Academy in Ankeny, Iowa, and will be a freshman at Central College in Pella, Iowa, studying drama and elementary education.
