Mary Ann Morgan and her six high school classmates are not those typical Midwestern city teenagers. They possess telepathic and telekinetic powers with the ability to manipulate objects in their mind. But little did they know that a chance encounter with Boian, a fugitive on a covert mission running wild in Western Colorado will change their lives forever.

"The Threat From Within: Defeated," an action thriller written by author Charles. F. Lee tells the story of how Mary Ann and her classmates (Bob Everett, Shirley Gordon, James Baker, Susan Baxter, John K. Clayton, and Carla Dickens) attempts to stop an Eastern Romanian arch-villain who is planning to destroy America by reducing its teenage populations brain to an earlier child or infant life stage.

This evil mad man holds the position as director of the Insitute for Brain Studies in Romania, a research facility conducting studies on adolescents' brain. With its state-of-the art electronics laboratory and highly capable engineers and technicians, the institute led by its director devised a plan to penetrate and destroy America by hacking into its cell towers with a pulse energy projectile which will severely affect an immature adolescents' brain that has no defense mechanism to counter this form of electromagnetic or radiation attack. This destructive cell tower hacking device will cause mass destruction to teenagers' brains. Someone has to stop this threat before it's too late. But how will Mary Ann and her classmates defeat this formidable opponent? Will their telekinetic powers be good enough to thwart this attempt of destroying America?

An electrifying, over-the-edge thrill ride from start to finish, "The Threat From Within: Defeated," is an entertaining, suspense-filled story full of excitement young readers and adults will sure to enjoy. However, it also sends a strong message on the long term effects of cell tower and cell phone usage nowadays.
