Aboard the most advanced floating city of the United States Navy, a handful of people are making their last stand. Thousands of crew members have become Zombies and have overrun the ship that had more than six thousand crew. It's the night of the living dead with the new twist of being aboard a state of the art aircraft carrier in P. N. Granozio's Carrier of the Dead. Readers, fans of Zombie Armageddon and new entrants into the horror world alike, will have loads of thrills in this survival adventure in a popular genre which will probably retain its popularity for a long time.

Granozio's slakes everyone's thirst for extraordinary slam-bang horror adventure with his scenes of carnage and desperate humans fighting off waves of rotting-in-the-flesh abominations of the zombie era. The handful of survivors have well-developed characters straight out of the real lives of Navy men who serve on modern air craft carriers, representing the run of carrier crew members. The writing is crisp, the subplots before and after the infection took place are skillfully weaved into the action scenes and there is no way out in the middle of the ocean for the four survivors. Carrier of the Dead raises the small hairs because of its authenticity - what Zombie invasion really happens aboard the most potent of military strike forces, the pride of America's military. Granozio has quite a few master storyteller's tricks up his sleeve and he employs them with savvy in the pages of his scorching, graphically shocking book.

The story revolves around the self-contained steel and wire floating city. No one knows where the infection came from and where it will end. The novel starts on the night when Timmy, Boats, Master Chief and Lt. Jennifer McCormick, a helicopter pilot, are making their last stand. It segues on to the days prior to the infection, continues on to the horrific bloodbath that started when the infection spread like wildfire among the almost six thousand crew members. How does it all end? Will anyone of them survive and find a harbor that the infection hasn't affected? The answers are all in Carrier of the Dead.
