CARETAKERS, with Vivica A. Fox, Missi Pyle & George Loomis, Finishes Filming

CARETAKERS, a new dramatic film starring Vivica A. FOX (Independence Day, Soul Food, Kill Bill, TV's The Celebrity Apprentice) & George Loomis as a hospital administrator & medical student duo who oversee the care of a former U.S. Ambassador, recently completed principal photography in Los Angeles.

The film also features Missi Pyle (Gone Girl, The Artist, Comedy Central's Another Period) & Christopher Cousins (UnReal, Breaking Bad, One Life to Live). It features a screenplay by George Loomis & direction by Elias Talbot. CARETAKERS is produced by Ann Tomberlin, Heidi Selexa & Persona Pictures.

The cast also includes former The Young & The RESTLESS series regular Angell Conwell, Natalija Nogulich (appeared opposite Jack Nicholson in Hoffa), Nick Airus, Konstantin Lavysh, and veteran actor Jack Donner (the original Star Trek series, Guiding Light, As the World Turns & General Hospital).

In CARETAKERS, years after surviving an embassy attack at his post in Damascus, Former U.S. Ambassador Chris Williams (Christopher Cousins), needs a new heart but has lost the will to live. But when medical student Jones (George Loomis) is assigned to care for him, he is able to get Chris talking and feeling hope again for the future. After meeting the ambassador's tormented wife, Alana (Natalija Nogulich), Jones discovers that THE FAMILY never healed from the Damascus attack, with Chris maintaining that he's being watched by militant groups. The family's financial advisor (Missi Pyle) is ready to give up on Chris and appoint a power of attorney to his wife. When Jones realizes that the strict, hands-off hospital policies enforced by his administrator Sherry (Vivica A. Fox) won't allow him to truly help this wounded family, he hatches a plan to help them heal on his own. But his RELENTLESS approach to care-giving uncovers a dark secret.
