God works in mysterious ways. Some people would be skeptical when told about His many miracles that some would dismiss. Yet those who have the strongest faith will see. Those who believe in Him with open hearts will witness the extent of His power. Author Bro. Ken's new publication "Do you believe in Angels" uncovers a collection of real testimonies and stories that show the goodness of the Lord. In it are heartwarming, even humorous, stories about the things that God would give if only one asks with real faith. Author Bro. Ken shares his real life experiences and anecdotes about his family and friends' experiences that prove how powerful faith can be.

Bro. Ken's faith was powered by personal illuminating experiences that cemented his trust in Jesus. Through his book, he shows how the Lord's angelic messengers and helpers abound throughout the world. His religious stories range from that of a lawn mower that never starts. He was able to use it through asking God to help him. One day, his friend Al asked to borrow the said lawn mower. An hour later, he received a phone call from Al saying that he tried everything but he cannot get to have the equipment to start. So he shared his secret, and his friend's skepticism was forgotten when he tried it and it worked.

Another amusing story was when his children kept on badgering him to have a cat. His wife is allergic to cats, and he himself does not like the creature that much. As any good dad will do, he told them to pray for it with the Lord's help; and before long, God answered their prayers. He tried so many times to divert the children's attention from the stray tabby cat they met but it all came to nothing. In the end, the children won. Praise was given to where it was due-the Lord who hears all prayers. The tales in this book vary, but they all impart the same important lesson-that nothing is impossible when one has faith and leaves it to God to do the rest. God teaches his people early in their Christian walk.

About the Author
Author Bro. Ken was born in 1942 on a rural rock farm in Central Alberta, Canada. He was the only boy among a number of sisters. His family moved into the city of Wetaskiwin in 1949, about 22 miles from the area of Pipestone, Alberta. His dad took a job with the Canadian Pacific Railroad as a night watchman at the locomotive roundhouse. His mom took a job cooking in a local restaurant. (By then, they were considered average people and not poor folk.) On the farm, there was no church of any kind in their area, but his mom was a Christian and read the bible to them in family devotions. Whenever someone would come out to their community hall and have a service, the family was always there. Bro. Ken started preaching in 1971 and ministered in almost every denominational church at one time or the other. He has conducted meetings in town halls, Orange halls, IOOF halls, Legion halls and any other place the Holy Spirit would open the door to. In 1989, he came up with multiple sclerosis and by the year 2000, it had severely limited his activities. So like a good Christian, the author started to complain to the Lord: "You know, Lord I'm no good, I can't do anything for you anymore." I can just imagine him smiling, as he said, "Why do you think I taught you how to use the computer?" Thus the Food for Thought daily inspirational was started.
