Calling all book worms! Spread your love for literature with students this school year by participating in Books-A-Million's Annual Book Drive, now through Saturday, August 27! Customers are encouraged to choose a favorite children's book to be donated to schools and libraries across the United States where resources for literature are limited. Happening at all of Books-A-Million's 250+ locations, each store has partnered with a local school in its community to provide students with new books for the upcoming school year.

"As a leading book retailer, we believe it's our duty to ensure every child, no matter the circumstance, has access to books and the opportunity to learn through literacy," said Scott Kappler, Vice President of Marketing at Books-A-Million. "Our ultimate hope is that at the end of this book drive, thousands of kids across the U.S. will experience the joy of reading and gain confidence in themselves and their ability to succeed in their education."

Customers interested in participating in the book drive can choose from a personal favorite or from one of the many suggestions located near the store checkout! Popular books to be considered for donation include JK Rowling's recently released eighth installment of the Harry Potter series "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts I & II," Dr. Seuss's inspiring short story "Oh, the Places You'll Go," Chris Colfer's adventurous novel "The Land of Stories," Marcus Pfister's classic tale "The Rainbow Fish" and many more!

All donations must be purchased, as new, from Books-A-Million. For more information or to participate in the book drive, please visit www.booksamillion.com.
