Book Marketing Tools Launches 'Social Media for Authors' Hangout
Book Marketing Tools, an organization that provides quality tools to help authors promote their books, is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its first-ever "Hangout on Air," or HOA, on Google Plus. The initial episode, which is titled "Social Media for Authors," will help authors understand the benefits of social media, and it will show them how to use it most effectively to promote their works. The HOA will feature insights from host Shawn Manaher, President of Book Marketing Tools, as well as his guest, Jason T. Wiser, host of the "Get on Track: Stay on Track" video podcast and proprietor of "On Track Tips." The HOA will be presented on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 1pm EST/10am PST.
Today's authors, especially those who write independently and self-publish, work hard to produce and promote unique content. Unfortunately, many of these indie authors lack the marketing knowledge necessary to make an impact in the competitive modern publishing industry. Social media, in particular, is a powerful promotional tool, but too many authors lack the expertise and knowledge necessary to use it effectively.
Book Marketing Tools recognizes the need to educate authors about the promotional side of their endeavors, and the company is presenting their first-ever Hangout on Air as a means to provide social media-related insights to authors who are interested in promoting their books more successfully. The HOA will be presented on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 1:00pm EST, and it will feature insights from host Shawn Manaher, President of Book Marketing Tools, and guest Jason T. Wiser. Wiser is the proprietor of On Track Tips, a company dedicated to helping churches, small businesses and indie authors establish their presences online, and he is also the host of the "Get on Track: Stay on Track" video podcast.
"We recognize that authors often need help promoting their books in the modern, digital age, so we're excited to be able to offer marketing tips and advice through our new Hangout on Air.
