Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE:BKS), the nation's largest retail bookseller and a leading retailer of content, digital media and educational products, today announced the exciting return of its popular LEGO Architecture Studio Event to take place at stores nationwide on Saturday, October 17, at 2 p.m. During Barnes & Noble's LEGO Architecture Studio event, adults and teens will have the unique opportunity to build their own creations while sharing and discussing their individual design processes with fellow participants. Plus, knowledgeable local architects and LEGO enthusiasts will be on hand to teach customers about the fascinating principles of architecture that influence their building, including scale, symmetry, point of reference, modules, repetition and more. Customers should contact their local store now for more information and to sign up for the event. To provide an optimal customer experience it is limited to 25 participants per store.

"We are thrilled to once again provide customers with the valuable opportunity to express their unique creativity and imaginative design skills through LEGO Architecture Studio," said Sarah DiFrancesco, Vice President, Business Development for Barnes & Noble. "Barnes & Noble is committed to engaging customers in hands-on experiences that teach them about designing, handcrafting and constructing, and there is no better way to accomplish this goal than with inspiring and interactive tools like LEGO Architecture Studio."

In 2013, Barnes & Noble hosted its first LEGO Architecture Studio event at more than 400 stores. Due to its success, the event is back and bigger than ever this year at all Barnes & Noble stores nationwide, and LEGO enthusiasts across the country will have the opportunity to join their local community as they explore the fascinating parameters and planning involved in design and architecture.

Plus, at this year's event, an exclusive, limited-edition LEGO Architecture T-shirt is available with the purchase of any LEGO Architecture Studio, while supplies last. Customers should contact their local store for more details.
