Novelist-singer-songwriter Aeyess has written an action-adventure book series centered on a special ops task force made up of celebrities. By day, they are some of the most famous people in the world. But, when duty calls, their special skill sets have prepared them to "save the world" numerous times over. Simultaneously, Aeyess wrote and recorded a full-length album of songs inspired by the stories. This trailblazing, multimedia release is the first of its kind.

The debut novella, Armstrong Dent and the Edge of Earth, has been released exclusively on Amazon on November 24, 2014. Every few weeks thereafter, a new short story will be released leading up to the full-length novel, Armstrong Dent and the End of the World as We Know It which will be released in Spring, 2015. These pulp-fiction style serials are throwbacks to the types of stories that inspired comic books, television shows (like Homeland, Bones, and Agents of Shield), and modern action movies (such as The Avengers and The Hunger Games).

Every 15 minutes, from December 1 st through December 15 th, the novella will be TwitterCast in 1500 tweets and accompanying Facebook posts. "I can't imagine a better way to share this novel than on social media," Aeyess said, "especially considering that one of the team members in the stories is a blogger. I couldn't think of any better way to acknowledge the true unsung heroes of the internet than to base a character on a blogger and then microblog the entire first story."

The accompanying soundtrack, Armstrong Dent and the Edge of Earth is an 11-song funk-pop album in the spirit of the great movie soundtracks. Aeyess wrote, produced, and performed the songs, alongside his musical partner King James II, formerly of Bad Boy Records. The album, recently completed at Lucasfilm's Skywalker Sound, will be released on January 27, 2015. The first web-single, Cracked Glasses is being released alongside the first story on November 25 th. The album's consulting producer is multiple Grammy-winner, Leslie Ann Jones, a past Chair of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Board of Trustees, the organization that awards the Grammys.

Cracked Glasses has an anti-bullying theme and can be summed up by the lyrics in the chorus: "Another story on the news today. Another teen passed away. Another family left to say. They didn't see it coming."

"They didn't see it coming" is also recurring theme in the book series, as Armstrong Dent and his team attempt to rescue the world from troubles brought on by governments, media, and digitally-overwhelmed people, all being too engaged in the trending topic of the moment to see the impending doom on the horizon.

After its release, Aeyess will be distributing 5,000 free copies of the book and soundtrack to every Boys and Girl Club in the United States. "I hope to inspire the next generation of young writers and musicians to dream the big dream and attempt the things no one has ever tried before," Aeyess said. "I want people to see that there's no shame in failure. The shame is in not trying."

Ironically, in contrast to the characters in his stories, Aeyess is a media-shy artist based in Virginia.
