Best-selling author Deepak Chopra will be signing his new book, God: A Story of Revelation, at Barbara's Booksellers in Terminal 1 at Chicago O'Hare International Airport on Friday October 12, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. This location is past security checkpoints in Terminal 1, B Concourse near Gate B10.

The book is the fourth volume in Chopra's Enlightenment series. The hardcover ($25.99; ISBN #9780062020680) was released on September 25, 2012. It is a unique blend of storytelling and teaching, in which the noted author explores the evolution of God by capturing the lives of ten historical prophets, saints, mystics, and martyrs who are touched by a divine power. Chopra brings to life the defining moments of our most influential sages, from Job and St. Paul to Socrates and Anne Hutchinson, revealing universal lessons about the true nature of God.

"On behalf of Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the Chicago Department of Aviation, we welcome Deepak Chopra to Chicago," said Rosemarie S. Andolino, Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA). "We commend our partner, Barbara's Bookstore, for bringing such a high profile author to O'Hare to sign his latest book in person and to interact with passengers and CDA employees."

Deepak Chopra is the founder of The Chopra Center for Wellbeing in Carlsbad, California, and is acknowledged as one of the master teachers of Eastern philosophy in the West. He has written more than 55 books and has been a bestselling author for decades with over a dozen titles on the Hudson Booksellers and New York Times bestseller lists.
