Aubrey Huff, two-time World Series Champion with the San Francisco Giants, will launch DreamGrinder Press, a new publishing company designed to help athletes and celebrities get their story published through a fair, partnership-based process. The launch was announced today.

DreamGrinder Press will set itself above other traditional publishing houses by working in a true partnership with clients. They will offer service in content development, design, writing, editing, printing, and distribution, as well as a customized public relations and social media marketing program to increase the chances of a new best-seller.

When Huff, a 13-year MLB veteran, was meeting with publishers about his upcoming memoir, Baseball Junkie, he was surprised to learn that traditional publishing companies typically pay the author a mere 10% in royalties, while still expecting them to handle the majority of the marketing and publicity workload. "It didn't make sense that the person doing the most work also took the biggest risk," said Aubrey Huff. "We knew it needed to be done differently and in a way that was better for everyone involved."

DreamGrinder Press' first publication will be Aubrey Huff's tell-all memoir entitled Baseball Junkie - The Rise, Fall, and Redemption of a World Series Champion, co-written with Stephen Cassar. The book will be released in February, 2017.

"I want to offer other writers the same deal I gave myself," continued Huff. "We want to make sure that both DreamGrinder Press and the author split the costs and profits, so that it's a true win-win scenario."
