Alonzo Gaskill Releases THE LOST TEACHINGS OF JESUS ON THE SACRED PLACE OF WOMEN
Alonzo Gaskill, Associate Professor of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University, has released "The Lost Teachings of Jesus on the Sacred Place of Women," a work based on an extra-biblical sermon purportedly delivered by Jesus Christ.
The extra-biblical sermon was found in an old book that contained the personal account of a Russian journalist who, in 1887, found a scroll in the Tibetan mountains that contained a discourse by Christ on the sacred role of women.
"I was struck by Christ's words in this ancient, lost discourse, and how harmonious they are with the teachings of Latter-day prophets," said Gaskill. "The counsel contained in this forgotten sermon advises women as to what God expects them to be; it teaches men how they should think of, and act toward, their wives, mothers and daughters; and it informs children of their duty toward their mothers, grandmothers and widows."
"The Lost Teachings of Jesus on the Sacred Place of Women" is available in bookstores and from online retailers.
