In his new book, "Islam within Judaism and Christianity, A Voice From The Past: Shedding Light on the unity between the Torah, Gospel and Quran Scriptures" (published by AuthorHouse), author Ahmed Shendy Yousef works to dispel long standing false stereotypes that religions have about each other. It is a message of peace meant to improve relationships among various world religions.

Yousef believes that communality can be experienced through biblical and quranic verses and teaching. "Islam within Judaism and Christianity, A Voice From The Past" is about restoring respect and tolerance among people, allowing a message of peace to take hold. "Although Islam is the first God message from the time of Adam," he explains, "it appeared as a new message to the Americans and Europeans, as a result of the people of these continents have so many unanswered questions, which I tried to answer in language that I hoped to be appreciated."

An excerpt from "Islam within Judaism and Christianity, A Voice From The Past":

"There are countless texts in the Quran and the Bible which suggest that the three religions agree on the worship of the Almighty Sole-Creator. Thus, it is taken for granted that there should be trifling differences in interpretation, which even occurs among the followers of one religion. The similarities ought not to prevent compromise and accord of hearts and spiritual affiliation for the benefit of peace, faith and mankind. The data affirming the proximity of our three religions in origins and aims, led many scholars and theologians in the Orient, Muslim, Jew as well as Christian beliefs, to preach cooperation, careful study and dialogue between Islam and other religions."

Yousef hopes to inspire peace and love in readers. "Jews, Christians and Muslims are one family and belong to same prophets that taught very similar messages, messages of love, peace and respect," he says, "messages that put us all under one umbrella and under one roof, under the shadow of one God. Only one God."
