Chicago, Illinois

Martin Davis wants to help black Americans harness and practice P.I.E.: political power, intellectual power, and economic power.

Davis is an expert on the challenges facing black communities and has been featured on numerous top-tier media programs, including CBS Radio, NPR, America's Morning News, and SIRIUS XM. His passion and knowledge make him a memorable speaker. His new book, "Are We There Yet?: The Ultimate Challenge", addresses issues of pressing importance to black communities and Americans everywhere.

Topics that Davis explores include voter registration, negativity in hip-hop and R&B music, revamping inner city schooling, urban policing and gun control, group economics, and the power of a few controversial words. He provides a detailed blue print for people of color to follow in America.

"My book provides challenges for blacks to improve their knowledge of our history, to learn how to uplift one another instead of degrading, to combat black on black violence, and how to improve the educational system in our communities," Davis said.

Davis decided to write "Are We There Yet?: The Ultimate Challenge" after seeing senseless black-on-black violence on inner city streets every single week in Chicago. He does not simply complain about the plight of the black man and woman in America; he gives concrete, detailed guidelines of how to uplift the status of blacks everywhere.
