The Next project of the PSC Community Theatre is the JOE BEEF MARKET. This fully bilingual and community event is scheduled for the Joe Beef Park on Centre Street, in Point St. Charles, on Saturday, September 14th 2013 - and will be the 5th edition. The Joe Beef Market offers space for artisans to display their goods or services, as well, as for singers; dancers etc. to offer their talent on stage.
Each year, the PSC Community Theatre also prepares a sketch to highlight a local historical figure and bring history alive. In the past we have honored Joe Beef himself; John Richardson; Emily Coonan etc. And this year the Theatre plans to highlight the life and times of Marguerite Bourgeoys - a dedicated and hard working lady who made great contributions to the history of early Montreal.

You can stay up to date as plans move ahead for this year's Joe Beef Market by joining (it's free) - the Joe Beef Market Society. When you join and register for up dated information about the market, you also have the opportunity to check off a couple of boxes on the form.

This includes:
1. If you have the time and desire to volunteer with the organization of this year's event.
2. If you are an artisan and might wish to consider renting a space in the market to display your goods or services. (the cost will likely be $ 30.00 for a table top for the day)
3. If you have a talent - singing; dancing etc. and would like to be part of our stage program during the event.
You can also e-mail joebeef@psccommunity.com if you would like to advertise in the booklet. To join the Joe Beef Market Society, simply go to: http://www.psccommunity.com/Joebeef/, click on English or French, and then click on "Join the Joe Beef Market Society".
