Betty Cuningham Gallery to Open New NYC Location

Betty Cuningham Gallery has annoucne its new location at 15 Rivinington Street, in the Lower East Side. After 10 years in Chelsea, the Gallery chose to move from their space on 25th Street.

"It is a bit like going home. Rivington Street is pratically a continuation of Prince Street in SoHo where I opened my first gallery, over Fanelli's in 1972. I like the human scale of Rivington and the less formal atmosphere." ~Betty Cuningham

The current exhibition of recent work by Philip Pearlstein, which celebrates the artist's 90th Birthday, will open at 541 West 25th street as scheduled on May 8th. However, it will travel from the Chelsea location to 15 Rivington Street on June 1st and reopen on Saturday, June 7th. The Pearlstein exhibition and celebration will continue through July 25, 2014.
