LTU technologies, a global leader in image recognition technology, today announced that Art.com Inc., the world's leading online destination dedicated to experiencing and buying art, has chosen LTU to provide a better visual search experience to its over 17 million customers in 120 countries.
Art.com will deploy LTU's patented image recognition technology across all of its web and mobile platforms, which include Art.com, as well as 25 localized e-commerce sites in Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia, Mexico, and South America.
LTU's technology will improve Art.com customers' ability to search millions of artworks based on color and image similarity - delivering more relevant and compelling results. LTU's technology will be seamlessly integrated into Art.com Inc.'s visual search features across its websites and mobile applications to enrich the online shopping experience.
