The nominations are here for the 2026 Tony Awards. This year, a high number of titles have onscreen counterparts, and we have rounded up how to watch these versions at home, from The Lost Boys to Schmigadoon!

54 Below is set to welcome back Marilyn Maye this Fall. Her previous engagements at 54 Below have been acclaimed, with rave reviews. For Marilyn’s Thanksgiving performance on Thursday, November 26, the regular menu will be replaced.

TheatreZone and Florida Gulf Coast University will co-produce CABARET, the Tony Award-winning Kander and Ebb musical, at the FGCU TheatreLab in Fort Myers, with FGCU students performing alongside Actors' Equity professionals.

TheatreZone announced its 2026–2027 season featuring six musicals and four concerts, including a world premiere by Naples-based playwright Mike Ruffolo and one of the first regional productions of HARMONY following its Broadway run.

While different tryout theaters have different relationships to the development of new shows, it’s worth looking at both which commercial rental theaters and which non-profit theaters have had the most Best Musical Tony Award winners come from their stages.

While a lot has been written about two handers, a term for two-person shows, less has been penned about three-handers. Yet, three-person plays are just as common a genre on Broadway as pieces with only two players. Currently, Art, by Yasmina Reza, is receiving an all-star revival at the Music Box.

Multiple lost Broadway theaters intersect with the Hammerstein family. This follows since Oscar Hammerstein I was a theater owner and builder. In addition to Hammerstein’s which was named after him and is now the Ed Sullivan, and the New Victory which he originally built, there is also the Hammerstein Ballroom. Read more here!

When I was a kid, I’d come home after school, immediately turn on the tv and watch Sally Starr (the blondest, ponytailed cowgirl in the tristate area) introduce cartoons and episodes of The Three Stooges (not a fan, I’d go get a snack). And then in 1966 Dark Shadows premiered at 4pm on channel 7 and it was “Sally who?” until April 2, 1971 when ABC thrust a stake through its time slot.
