Downstairs Cabaret Theatre has announce a limited, three-week-only engagement of: Naked Boys Singing!, January 27 - February 14. The American Vaudeville-style review premiered in 1998 and has been "thrilling" audiences both in New York and around the globe ever since.

The six-member cast sings such "cheeky" numbers as "Gratuitous Nudity," "The Bliss of a Bris," "Fight the Urge" and "Perky Little Porn Star." The show is popular with both straight and LGBT audiences alike, as well as "naturists."

This show has a local connection, as the tour is being produced and directed by Honeoye-native Tim Evanicki, a Juilliard alum who now resides in Orlando, FL and runs Tim Evanicki Productions.

"Obviously, the nudity hooks curious audiences into purchasing tickets," he says, "but, after the first song, audiences become so charmed by the show and the songs, they quickly seem to forget the cast is performing naked." Evanicki is no stranger to the Downstairs Cabaret Theatre stage, and has performed in several productions there.

"I'm always excited when I can bring one of my projects home to Rochester," he adds.

Prior to Rochester, the tour enjoyed a completely sold-out run for 5 weeks in Fort Lauderdale, and enjoyed sold-out houses in Atlanta, GA as well.

The touring cast includes Kable Barnhart, Danny Burgos, Tim Garnham, Anthony Massarotto, Stephen Millett and Charles Walljasper Robinson.

ABOUT THE TOURING CAST:

Kable Barnhart is thrilled to be joining the tour of Naked Boys Singing. He recently graduated with his BFA in Musical Theatre from Central Washington University! Credits: Music Man (CDA), Little Mermaid (CDA), Mary Poppins (Central Theatre Ensemble), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Broadway Rose Theatre Company).

Danny Burgos is totally jazzed to be joining the Naked Boys! After graduating from Florida State University in 2015 he joined the National Tour of Beauty & the Beast and moved to NYC shortly after! Some of his favorite credits include The Full Monty, West Side Story (Bernardo) & The Addams Family (Gomez Addams). He wants to thank the team and the boys for being incredibly welcoming.

Tim Garnham is originally from Sydney, Australia but resides in Manhattan, New York. No stranger to being naked on stage, Tim was fortunate enough to be a swing for the 2013 Off Broadway revival of Let My People Come and was a part of an explicit musical comedy in The Fabulous Punch & Judy Show which had great success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the UK.

Anthony Massarotto is stoked to be joining the touring cast of Naked Boys Singing! He is a graduate of the College of Charleston with BA's in Music and Theatre. Most recently he was seen in Broward Stage Door's productions of Putting It Together and the original cast of Pompadour. He can't wait to bare it all on stage with this amazing group of guys!

Stephen Millett is thrilled to be joining this awesome cast of Naked Boys Singing! He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor's in Music for vocal performance and a focus in dance. Recent credits include: Jack (Into the Woods), Sonny (Grease), and Dr. Madden (Next to Normal), each of which were fully clothed, making this his first time in the buff on stage!

Charles Walljasper Robinson is a graduate from Southern Illinois University with his BFA in Musical Theatre. Some regional credits include American Idiot (Tunny), Rocky Horror (Rocky), Awesome 80's Prom (Blake Williams) and Hair (featured ensemble). Charley is extremely thankful and blessed to be joining such a wonderful group of actors.

Tim Evanicki (Director) is a Juilliard-trained singer, performer, and producer based in Orlando, FL. He has performed on some of the world's most prestigious stages. He is the co-creator of Bathhouse: The Musical, which has been presented all over the world for the last 10 years including extended-runs in London and Paris. Tim is the lead producer with Tim Evanicki Productions, that is the sole producer and booking agent for the Parliament House Resort in Orlando, and produces theatrical and convention entertainment around the country.
