Bathhouse: The Musical!, written by Esther Daack and Rochester-native Tim Evanicki, follows the story of Billy, a wide-eyed youth venturing into a bathhouse for the first time. He's looking for love, but soon realizes that the other patrons are looking for something a little more... temporary. With some guidance, Billy soon learns the ins and outs of bathhouse etiquette. Taking cues from crowd-pleasers like Forever Plaid and Naked Boys Singing, Bathhouse: The Musical! promises loads of laughs, original songs, four guys in towels, and a bit of heart.

Downstairs Cabaret produced the 2008 National Tour of the 90-minute show which had previously won Patron's Pick at the 2006 Orlando Fringe Festival. Over the past ten years, Bathhouse: The Musical! has played in multiple cities across the U.S.; Montre?al, Ottawa, and Quebec, Canada; Paris, France; and London, England. A production is planned for Sydney, Australia later this year, and a remount of a UK Tour is in the works.

The cast includes Timothy Oriani as "Billy," Nick DeFrancesco as "Teddy," Bri Molloy as "Maurice," and Robert Matthew Baxter as "David. The production is directed by Tim Evanicki, with choreography by associate director Leon Glover.
