RestorationART teams up with Walk Tall Girl Productions to present an evening of community conversation with the cast of PIPELINE, the riveting new play by Dominique Morisseau (Skeleton Crew) on Monday, August 7, 2017, 7pm at The Billie Holiday Theatre, 1368 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, NY. With profound compassion and lyricism, PIPELINE brings an urgent conversation to the fore. PIPELINE is a deeply moving story of a mother's fight to give her son a future - without turning her back on the community that made him who he is. This event will provide a rare opportunity for the community to connect with cast members from PIPELINE, including Karen Pittman, Heather Velazquez and Jaime Lincoln Smith.

Marlon Peterson, Human Rights Activist and Writer will moderate the conversation. He is the founder and chief re-imaginator of The Precedential Group, a social justice consulting firm, and a 2015 recipient of the prestigious Soros Justice Fellowship. For a crime he committed in his early twenties, the courts sentenced Marlon Peterson to 10 years in prison -- and, as he says, a lifetime of irrelevance. While behind bars, Peterson found redemption through a penpal mentorship program with students from Brooklyn.
