The Bushwick Starr is thrilled to again be offering this annual day of free programming in Maria Hernandez Park, located just a half a block from our theater. This special one-day-only event brings art and performance out into the open air for a free community festival, open to the public.

Ghetto Hors D'oeuvres: Climate is the next in a series of poetic theatrical performances by Oye Group that paints an ode to Climate Justice in New York City. A FREE event for the community of Bushwick, Brooklyn with food, activities, games for kids & adults, live music and DJs. An eclectic group of Brooklyn artists, both native and immigrant, decipher the block and break down the rock that is the foundation of Brooklyn. Their stories tell of the city's transformation, celebrating the changes and addressing the inequalities while together we rejoice in the ups and downs of el Barrio.
