Audience members are invited to 'use their imagination' when the best-selling book The 13-Storey Treehouse comes to life on The Playhouse stage, Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) from 5 to 9 April 2017.

Adapted by Richard Tulloch (The Book of Everything, Bananas in Pyjamas), and based on the best-selling book by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton, The 13?Storey Treehouse is brought to life with a seriously funny cast and magical moments of theatrical wizardry.

Following a tour around Australia including a sell-out season at the Sydney Opera House, the one and only, super-famous, ultra-brilliant The 13?Storey Treehouse arrives at QPAC just in time for the Easter school holidays.

Recommended for children aged 6 years and older, it is time for curtain up! Today's the day. There's just one problem. They forgot to write it! And where will they find flying cats, a mermaid, a sea monster, an invasion of monkeys, and a giant gorilla? Luckily the theatre has an extensive prop and costume collection and some very impressive stage technology.

Don't miss seeing this much loved book come to life on stage, and remember don't forget to use your imagination. Tickets on sale now via qpac.com.au or call 136 246.
