Don't let the kids get "unbearable" these school holidays - bring them to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) for adventures of the theatrical kind.

Perfect for any young family is WE'RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT, based on Michael Rosen's multi award winning bestselling book, which arrives at QPAC in ideal time for the April school holidays.

Live on stage in the Cremorne Theatre from today 5 to Thursday 17 April 2014 this UK production will be presented for the first time in Queensland, direct from a smash-hit international tour and sold out seasons in Melbourne and at the Sydney Opera House.

The show features music, laughter, songs, rhythms, rhymes and repetitions; and with puppetry, paints, water and mud, not to mention a bear - we're not scared!

To extend the fun, bring the little ones for a picnic lunch on the Melbourne St Green before or after the show with special Children's Picnic Packs available at the QPAC cafe for $12.50 each. Teddy Bears are welcome too!

And why not take the children on an opulent tour to imperial court of Siam where they can experience the jewel in the Rodgers and Hammerstein crown, The King and I staring Lisa McCune and Teddy Tahu Rhodes in an Australian premiere season from 13 April to 1 June 2014.

Book now for school holiday adventures at QPAC. Go to www.qpac.com.au or phone 136 246.
