Queensland artist Creature Kind was announced today to be support act for phenomenal British singer, songwriter and guitarist Joan Armatrading's Brisbane concert at Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) on Sunday 14 December.

Creature Kind crosses stylistically between Indie Rock, Electronic and Acoustic Pop. Having released his debut single 'We Cry' earlier this year, Creature Kind has toured up and down the eastern coast of Australia and within Queensland and is currently embarking on the next chapter of his journey. Knuckling down in the studio with producers Zachary Miller (Art Vs Science, Jimmy Barnes, Twinsy, The Last Dinosaurs) and Brendan Anthony (George, INXS, Wheatus, The Phoncurves), Creature Kind is set to release his much-anticipated debut EP later this year.

Creature Kind has also been a featured artist at QPAC's popular Seed Project a weekly mini-festival of free original live music every Friday from June to August on the Melbourne St Green.

Creature Kind says that he is really excited to be support act for Joan Armatrading in Brisbane.

"I grew up listening to music by Joan Armatrading and it is a great honour to be opening for someone of her immense talent and many years of experience," he said.
