Steps off Broadway Productions, Inc., will be performing the stage production of Shrek the Musical on February 2nd, 8th, 9th at 7:30 PM and February 3rd, 10th at 2:00 PM.

Steps Off Broadway is one of five theaters in the country to receive the rights to perform this show before the full release date in June. They are the only theater in Massachusetts being able to perform this show at this time. With an amazing cast on board and a fantastic production staff to help it along, this is going to be a must see show. Directed and choreographed by Bellingham's own, Keith Mottola with the help from Arlena Boyle of Upton, MA. The Muscial Director is Esther Zabinski of Pawtucket, RI and the Set Designer is Michael Newton-Brown of Sarasota, FL.

Shrek the Musical is based on the famous film; "Shrek" starring Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy. Shrek the Musical brings the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre to life on stage. In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre - not a handsome prince - shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won't shut up, a villain with a SHORT temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

This show will have you clapping your hands, dancing in your seat, and will probably bring you to your feet. Shrek the Musical is part romance, part twisted fairy tale and all irreverent fun for the whole family! This is a production you do not want to miss.
