"MWAH!" is an affectionate and humorous look at the life and career of Dinah Shore as seen through the eyes of one of her most ardent fans, someone who sat transfixed in front of his TV during the 1970s watching the "Dinah!" show almost daily. Macauley presents many of Dinah's 92 pop chart hits, ranging from million selling songs to lesser-known standards. Jeff Macauley's Bistro Award-winning Dinah Shore tribute debuted in 1997 at Eighty Eights in New York's Greenwich Village and had a long run before moving to Los Angeles' Cinegrill at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Wrote Backstage Bistro reviewer Roy Sander in 1997: "With his considerable wit and charm, Jeff Macauley succeeds in making this course in Dinah 101 at once interesting and very funny . . . He sings some 20 songs, all of them delivered with affection." And this from Cabaret Scenes Magazine: "Macauley deftly combined a musical tribute to Dinah Shore with spicy biographical stories from his own life. The result was an evening of hilarity and impeccable musical performance." Upon its 2016 revival at the Metropolitan Room in New York, BroadwayWorld.com found MWAH! to be "... one of the most successful shows of its kind." and that "Macauley was stand-up comic funny throughout."

Musical direction is by Maestro Barry Levitt. Come and enjoy this tribute to the legendary performer that the soldiers of WWII voted "Miss Just About Everything."

Jeff Macauley is a two-time MAC Award Male Vocalist nominee and Backstage Bistro Award winning cabaret singer. In previous shows, he explored the rich world of early musical films in "Hollywood Party: Movie Songs 1928-1936," and in his "Easy-Listening Trilogy," has paid tribute to songwriters Michel Legrand, Henry Mancini and Norman Gimbel in the shows "Le Grand Tour," "Mr. Lucky" and "It Was Me." First performed in 1997, "MWAH!," Macauley's 1998 Backstage Bistro Award winning tribute to singing star and Hollywood icon Dinah Shore, was revived in 2016 in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Miss Shore's birth.

In 2017 Jeff was nominated for a Male Vocalist MAC award for "MWAH! The Dinah Shore Show," "Le Grand Tour: The Music of Michel Legrand," and "It Was Me: The Lyrics of Norman Gimbel." Jeff was nominated for a 2016 BroadwayWorld.com award for Male Vocalist. He was also nominated for a 2016 MAC award for Male Vocalist for "Mr. Lucky: The Songs of Henry Mancini," which was also nominated for a 2015 BroadwayWorld.com award for "Best Tribute Show." In 2012, Jeff's show "It Was Me: The Lyrics of Norman Gimbel," was nominated for a BroadwayWorld.com ward. "It Was Me" has been performed in New York and Los Angeles and is available as a studio recording on CDBaby, iTunes and Amazon.
