LL Production Company's production of Matt & Ben, written by Mindy Kaling (The Office) and Brenda Withers, is moving to Davis Square Theatre this spring. After a continuous sold out run at The Riot Theatre in Jamaica Plain, Matt & Ben will play to the larger theater at 255 Elm Street in Somerville on April 8th and 9th at 10pm. Finally Bostonians will have an answer to the question on everyone's mind: "How did Matt Damon and Ben Affleck write the screenplay for Good Will Hunting?" It fell from the sky, of course!

In reality the screenplay might not have appeared right out of thin air, but the play takes audiences through a fantastic journey of what if it did. Matt and Ben spend one long Saturday in Somerville fighting, reminiscing, and hallucinating a lot more than normal when confronted with the screenplay they already know will change their lives. Matt & Ben is one wicked funny show that will make an audience feel like they're right in the same living room as these young Boston boys (played by girls).

Matt & Ben features Lauren Robinson of Somerville, in the title role of Matt, and Libby Schap of Chelsea, playing the other half of this bromance, Ben. Joining them at the Davis Square Theater are stage manager and sound designer Norma Heller of Brighton and lighting designer Tim Fairley of Chelsea.

This is the first play produced by LL Production Company, a company focused on highlighting funny women. Matt & Ben has been well received during its monthly performances at The Riot Theater, with audiences calling it "hilarious" and "perfect for any fan of Matt and Ben or Good Will Hunting."

Shows: April 8th and 9th at 10PM, Tickets $20. Tickets for the late night April performances are now on sale. Tickets available for $20 online at http://bit.ly/mattandben and $25 at the door. Davis Square Theater has a bar on site and all shows are 21+.
