The F.U.D.G.E. Theatre Company announces the New England premiere of Nevermore, with music by Matt Conner, book by Grace Barnes, with lyrical adaptations from the writings of Edgar Allan Poe. Nevermore opens November 5th, 2009 and will run through November 7th.

"Edgar Allan Poe has always been one of my favorite writers. When we were offered the rights to the New England Premiere of this musical, I jumped at the chance! Since Boston is the birthplace of Poe, what better place than to present the New England Premiere of a musical based on his life (though, more accurately, his death)? Poe's beautiful words and Conner's haunting melodies work perfectly together to create an evening of interesting, artistic, and wonderful theater." says Joe DeMita, The F.U.D.G.E> Theatre Company's President and this production's Director. Nevermore features Ronny Pompeo, Shawna O'Brien, Joelle Kross, Ashley Yarnell, Kerry Farrell & Paige MacLean.

Nevermore takes a dark and mysterious journey into the life of Edgar Allan Poe. This imaginative musical uses Poe's poetry and short stories as its base and his shifting obsession with the women in his life as its catalyst. With hauntingly beautiful melodies, Nevermore breathes new life into Poe's work and explores a twisted true-life tale that is as bizarre as his classic stories of the macabre.
