Actors Peter Friedman, Bobby Moreno and Kelly McAndrew will participate in staged readings of Grand Concourse by Heidi Schreck (There are No Big Secrets, Creature) at the Cape Cod Theatre Project. Readings are July 18th, 19th, and 20th at 8 p.m. at Falmouth Academy. Tickets can be purchased by clicking HERE. (Suggested donation: $20).

The theatre, which develops new American plays, has begun its second season under Artistic Director Hal Brooks (Thom Pain, No Child).

Friedman (Broadway: Ragtime, Off-Broadway: Circle Mirror Transformation), Moreno (Off-Broadway: Hand to God, Red-Handed Otter) and McAndrew (Off-Broadway: Still Life, Good Television) will appear with Katie Broad (Stop the Virgens at St. Ann's Warehouse) in this new play by Obie Winner Schreck.

Schreck, who recently appeared in New York Public Theater's Free Shakespeare in the Park's production of Comedy of Errors, is also a previous winner of the P73 Playwriting Fellowship.

Kip Fagan (The Revisionist) directs the reading about a young woman volunteering at a soup kitchen in the Bronx - for reasons that are murky even to herself - who brings chaos to the lives of her co-workers and those she intends to help.

On July 25th, 26th and 27th, CCTP presents Luce by JC Lee, who previously attended CCTP with his play Pookie Goes Grenading. Luce will be having its world premiere this Fall at LCT3, directed by May Adrales.

All presentations of staged readings are at 8 p.m. at Falmouth Academy in Falmouth, MA. Tickets (suggested donation of $20) may be purchased by calling the box office at (508) 457-4242 or clicking the link above.
