Franklin School Announces Their Upcoming Shows And Events

Thursday, September 1st: The Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will audition prospective members in grades 5 and 6 for its Musical Theater Performing Troupes at 3:30 p.m. at The School, 38 Main St., Franklin. Saturday, September 17th: Audition for Bye Bye Bieber, an original musical spoof loosely based on the musical Bye Bye Birdie! The auditions begin at 1:00 p.m. and are open to students 8 and up who are enrolled in any class at Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA). Students should prepare 16 measures of a pop song. Saturday, Saturday 17th: A "How to Audition" workshop will be offered by the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at 38 Main Street, Franklin. Led by FSPA Director Raye Lynn Mercer, the workshop will educate students and parents about the audition process, whether getting ready for a first audition or looking to improve. The cost for the workshop is $15 per person, $25 for student and parent, and $5 for each additional family member.
