Barrington Stage Company has announced that the previously arranged production of Arthur Miller's The Price has been dropped from their 2012 Mainstage season because a Broadway revival is planned of the show. In its place will be Miller's 1947 Tony winning play All My Sons.

"I am sorry we will not be able to do The Price but absolutely delighted we can produce the play that put Arthur Miller on the map - and a play that is extremely relevant in today's world," wrote Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, who will direct the production.

Performances of All My Sons will run from July 19 through August 4.

Set in post-World War II, this landmark drama examines the relationships between fathers and sons and the price of living the American Dream. An explosive secret threatens to tear a family apart in this powerful play about the conflict between business ethics and taking responsibility for one's actions.

Single tickets for "All My Sons" and the 2012 season go on sale Wednesday, February 15. For information call 413-236-8888 or visit www.barringtonstageco.org.
