Adam Pascal Set for The Art House Series in Provincetown This Week

Tony-nominee and Obie and Theatre World Award winner Adam Pascal, has created some of the most memorable roles in recent Broadway history. He shot to stardom for originating the role of Roger in the Broadway blockbuster "Rent," as well as the London production, and starred in the film version. On July 17 he returns to the acclaimed Broadway @ The Art House series, where he joins pianist and host Seth Rudetsky for an unforgettable evening of conversation and song. This past season he starred in "Disaster!" on Broadway with Seth Rudetsky. He also originated the role of Radames in Elton John and Tim Rice's "Aida," and was featured as the Emcee in the critically acclaimed revival of "Cabaret" directed by Sam Mendes. Other of Adam Pascal's recent performances include the role of Freddie in "Chess" at the Royal Albert Hall in London, alongside both Idina Menzel and Josh Groban. This performance was recorded for PBS' Great Performances series and has been released on DVD. He also reprised his starring role in the 2009 Broadway Tour of "Rent." His film work, in addition to the screen version of "Rent," includes "SLC Punk!," "School of Rock" and the movie musical "Temptation." He has also released two solo rock albums, "Model Prisoner" and "Civilian" for Sh-K-Boom Records. At the Art House, Adam will perform an evening of classic Broadway songs from composers old and new, including Stephen Sondheim, Kander & Ebb, Jonathan Larson, and Jason Robert Brown. His upcoming Provincetown shows will be a rare opportunity for Cape Cod audiences to enjoy one of Broadway's brightest rising stars!

Seth Rudetsky, has hosted the Broadway Series in Provincetown for the previous five seasons, since its inception. He is the afternoon host on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio's On Broadway as well as the host of Seth Speaks on SiriusXM Stars. As a pianist, he has played piano for over a dozen Broadway shows including "Ragtime," "Les Miserables" and "Phantom of the Opera" among many others. As a comic, Rudetsky was awarded "Funniest Gay Male in NY" at Stand-Up NY and is a three-time Emmy nominee as a writer for The Rosie O'Donnell Show. His newest book, The Rise and Fall of a Theater Geek was published by Random House and is available on Amazon.com. He co-wrote and starred the critically acclaimed new musical "Disaster!" this season on Broadway.

The Art House in Provincetown, MA, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Mark Cortale, is the original home to the internationally acclaimed Broadway @ The Art House series hosted by Seth Rudetsky. In its fifth season last summer, the series presented Broadway superstars like Rosie O'Donnell, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Audra McDonald, and Vanessa Williams.
