ComedySportz, an extremely fun show produced by CSz Boise, where two teams of improvisers compete against each other for points and laughs, this week announced for the Boise ComedySportz troupe, they will be hosting tryouts for both the Major and Minor Leagues. If there is enough interest with the forthcoming tryouts, they are also hoping to form a Rec Improv League.

Licensed by CSz Worldwide, there are 26 ComedySportz teams across the world. The Boise chapter will be hosting their tryouts on Thursday, August 3 from 6:30 to 8:30PM at the CSz Arena at 4619 Emerald Street in Boise.

"These tryouts are for anyone wishing to share their improv talents and passions with the community while having fun," said RAndy Reese, Executive Director of ComedySportz, and "Though our Major League players are expected to be versed in the CSz Worldwide standards, our Minor League and possible Rec League are perfect places for interested talent to participate."

For those interested in trying out, the Major League Team consists of a maximum of 25-players trained in ComedySportz improve techniques. These players have the ability to play in all Major League home matches, with about 8 to 10 matches occurring per month right now. They can also compete in away matches and teach classes, while the Minor League Team is a training ground to learn improv techniques. There are 15-slots available at this time.

"If enough people are interested having a whole lot of fun, we can form a Rec League for anyone interested in improv," said Reese "CSz Boise will provide a practice space and coordinate guest instructors. It would be a really incredible and immensely fun opportunity for introducing the community to what we do here. Spread the word on our upcoming tryouts, and consider attending this August."
