Christian Youth Theater-North Idaho's (CYT-North Idaho's) winter session of classes begins today, Jan 7th or 9th. Classes will meet at the CYT-North Idaho Campus at 2775 Howard Street, Suite 7, Coeur d' Alene, every Tuesday from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. or every Thursday from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. for ten weeks.

CYT-North Idaho welcomes children ages 6-18 years to participate in classes. Courses offer something for returning students or new students including: OUR GANG - Technicolor Kids, an Intro to Theater Class for 6 & 7 year olds, Drama 101, Dance 101, Voice 101, and specialty classes including: Basic Costuming, Square 2 (mainstream square dancing) and Take a Chill Pill (learn the art of concentration and relaxation in theater). All students will perform in Showcase at the end of the session with their respective class at the Kroc Community Theater on Mar 11. Visit the CYT-NI website for more details or to register.

Students can register through the second week of class but must be enrolled in a class to audition for the winter show, Broadway's, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat which will be performed at the S.A. Kroc Community Theater Feb 28 - Mar 9. For more information about CYT-North Idaho, winter classes, or Joseph, call the CYT-North Idaho office at (208) 765-8600, email the office at office@cytnorthidaho.org or visit the CYT website at cytnorthidaho.org.

Tuition runs is $175 for 22 hours of instruction and the end of session Showcase. Scholarships and payment plans are available.

CYT is a non-profit after-school theater arts training program for students ages 6-18. Since it's inception in 1981, CYT has grown to be the largest youth theater in the nation. CYT-North Idaho opened with summer camp in July 2007.
