Boise Contemporary Theater (BCT) ihas been nominated for a 2015 Nonprofit Excellence Award. The Idaho Nonprofit Center's Excellence Award recognizes the work of outstanding nonprofits and spotlights the enormously important roles of nonprofit organizations across Idaho that make a difference every day.

"We know that nonprofits make a difference in communities across Idaho every day and these awards recognize the contribution of the nonprofit sector." said Janice Fulkerson, Executive Director of the Idaho Nonprofit Center, which organized the awards. "We continue to be impressed with the many moving stories in the 2015 nominations and extremely proud of the nonprofits and what their contributions to the quality of life in Idaho."

Boise Contemporary Theater will be recognized at the Nonprofit Excellence Awards Dinner on September 23rd during the Idaho Nonprofit Center's annual conference. Six of the organizations will be honored with 2015 Nonprofit Excellence Award.

Boise Contemporary Theater's mission is to create theater that invites us all to imagine something new. BCT is celebrating it's 20th Season of bringing professional contemporary theater of the highest level to Idaho audiences. BCT is nationally recognized as an originator of great new plays with a vibrant theater and education space in the heart of Boise's Cultural District that serves as an inspiring creative home for artists, students and patrons. In recognition of a strong commitment to artistic excellence and support of artists, Boise Contemporary Theater is the recipient of a number of local, regional, and national honors, including the 2013 Boise Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts.
