You can download it off iTunes, which is what I did. It's got a Tommy-esque energy to it, really fun music.
Yes, the premise is a bit absurd, but it's pulled off so well you don't even care that he's screaming about pteredactlys and there's zombies and a giant dragon.
I listened to it for the first time a few days ago and my god, it's so beautiful, the ending just got me. Probably the best rock opera even written (which is either saying alot since it's only an EP, or, becuase of that fact, can't really be compared to full length albums).

It's been adapted as a one act musical for a college performance. Even if it were rewritten as a full length piece and given more meat I still don't think it could get any farther than off-off or possibly off, it's concept is simply too risky and bizzare.
A COMPLETELY ORIGINAL pop-punk musical with dinosaurs, a time machine and the zombie apocalypse featuring Satan and a giant dragon?
How do you market that to the normal Broadway-going audience?

Some of the music is indeed very moving and it's an interesting try but I don't think it would ever have any real life on the stage unless the story was largely changed--I mean so much ridiculous drama happens in the space of a 5 minute song that if staged it wouldn't be moving but silly.

i love the album and i think it's brilliant, but i have to agree, it's just not right for the stage but i really want to see it as a movie, sure a lot of it might have to be cgi, but i would truly love seeing that

I like their actual album a lot better. But listening to it, they do have a gift for interesting story telling.

It features Drew Gasparini, Caitlin Kinnunen, Alysha Umphress, Brian Charles Rooney and more...
