That Family Dinner sketch is genius! I love how the sounds of the silverware are almost a forth character! I believe Ferrell wrote that one if I am not mistaken.

In that Family Dinner sketch, listen for a mischievous audience member who lets out a hugely exaggerated laugh during a break in the dialogue, and sends the audience into another round of laughter.

At the talent show tonight, Someone sang "Greased Lightnight" and I thought IMMEDIATLY of the Gene Rayburn sketch.

He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.

The one with Gilda Radner and Candace Bergen where gilda is like "I'm so thirsty, i could drink a horse!"

I LOVE that skit. and "Lets talk dirty to the animals"

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I? I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

In SNL-related news, I'll be performing in a Kaitlin & Rick sketch (the sleepover one from one of Lindsay Lohan's episodes) in a school variety show. And not even at my own behest! Apparantly my drama teacher thinks it's a "perfect fit."

My favorites:

Coffee Talk with Linda Richman - the one w/ Roseanne and Madonna and Barbra Streisand.
Anything w/ the Church Lady
Mary Katherine Gallagher w/ Rosie O Donnell and Penny Marshall as Catholic School Nuns and Whitney singing the Little Drummer Boy
Kristin Wiig as the Target Lady (I work at Target so I can relate to her)
Anything with Gilda Radner (she's my absolute favorite)
There are so many more but those are my favorites...

Ok, so I watched the dysfunctional family dinner sketch. Meh. Dull and predictable.

Anyone remember this one?

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I remember seeing that sketch...it was one step too far. All these mentions are bringing back such good memories! I don't know if I can even name favorites, but I'll try. I'll name generals, if not specifics.

Spartan Cheerleaders
The Culps
The Continental (Christopher Walken)
Gilda Radner's "Let's Talk Dirty to the Animals"
Claire Danes' Tinkerbell Sketch
Maya Rudolph as Donatella Versace
Coffee Talk
Natalie Portman's Rap
Chris Parnell's Kirsten Dunst Rap
Will Ferrell's character that suffers from Voice Immodulation
Robert Goulet's The Coconut Banger's Ball: It's a Rap!
Chris Farley's Van Down by the River guy
The Delicious Dish
Election 2000 coverage with "Lock Box" and "Strategery"
MANGO!!!!! How has that not been mentioned?!
The Antonio Banderas- how do you say? ah yes. -Show. Too de sexy!
Old French Whore with Garth Brooks
Celebrity Jeopardy- the earlier ones.
The Ambiguously Gay Duo
The Ballad of Mindy and Skye- Jimmy Fallon and Gwyneth Paltrow
That boy scout camp sketch with Alec Baldwin and Adam Sandler
Operaman

Oh man. I wish I could remember more. I guess they're all my favorites.
Why hasn't Baldwin been made an honorary cast member yet?

Nobody started a new SNL thread for this past Saturday night's show with Ashton Kutcher + Gnarls Barkley.

I think the show sucks now, but still has one or two funny moments. I now skip the first part entirely (election sketch). They are not the least bit funny, I don't know how they can go on doing them.

Ashton Kutcher's monologue was alright..it was fine. Bleh.

My favorite sketch was probably The Cougar Den. I can't say this enough, Kristin Wiig is just brilliant. She's the best thing about SNL right now. "I took my boyfriend to see The Ruins for his 22nd birthday" "Blow Joy. It certainly isn't a job." Just looking at her puts a big smile on my face.

It was also a pleasant surprise to see Cameron Diaz in that sketch. She was somewhat funny in that.

Weekend Update sucked. If I have to see that Fred Armisen reading the newspaper thing again, I'm going to write SNL to let them that it is total ****.

Definitely "Let's Talk Dirty to the Animals" with Gilda Radner, and anything she did as Emily Litella.

I really liked the hot-tub sketch where Ferrell & Dratch are a couple that is very transparent about their intimacy to one another. Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon played the other half of a couple. Everybody cracked at some point in that sketch.

Spartan Cheerleaders

Celebrity Jeopardy

Natalie Portman rap

Amy Poehler while being very pregnant rapping right in front of Sarah Palin

The first Lawrence Welk Show sketch

"Christmastime for the Jews"

Jon Hamm is Sergio

"Dick in the Box"

"Do the Creep"- That one stuck out than the last few digital shorts
