i don't know what a narrative song is..

that's my problem! haha.. I don't really know. I think it's just supposed to be a song that tells a story (ex: Meadowlark, Sun and the Moon) but not those examples. Know what I mean? Isn't it weird?

A narrative song is a song that tells a story...as opposed to a lot of MT songs that are used to elaborate on emotions.

Sweeney Todd has a lot of narrative songs. Or Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat (although I hate that show).

Narrative songs tell a story...its not directed towards one specific person.

a lot of songs from Tommy are also narrative...Pinball Wizard, It's a Boy (although that's really short...)
